Affectionately nicknamed "Pat, Pat, the River Rat," she's spent much of her life on and around rivers -- and has written articles on every aspect of Maine rivers. Here in Maine for 30 years, Pat’s been a widely published travel/environmental/business writer, with hundreds of feature and cover articles appearing in dozens of magazines and newspapers – along with the gamut of business writing for companies and nonprofits around Maine and the U.S. An avid organic gardener, gourmet chef and explorer of hidden coves and mountain trails around New England and the world, she loves spending time with her son when he’s home from college. As a longtime community leader/volunteer for Maine charities, rotary, chambers, boards & committees, she loves to cook and farm for neighbors in need; (“The Singing Chef”) in Brunswick and Portland — transcending farmer’s market bounty into nutritious and memorable meals that just make people feel good.
