If you are in the Kennebunk area and are looking for something other than beach-centric activities to enjoy during your downtime, you’re in luck.
In addition to a wide variety of restaurants, museums, shops, and galleries, you’ll have plenty of outdoor options, as well, like wildlife preserves, trails, parks, golf—and disc golf. What is disc golf, you ask?
Picture playing traditional golf, but by tossing frisbee-like discs into raised baskets instead of hitting balls with clubs into a hole, and you’ve pretty much got the gist of it. There are a host of courses around Kennebunk if you’re willing to travel a bit; all of the places on this list are less than 45 minutes from the center of town, as noted.
