Kennebunk, Maine, is a town that may be known for many things—such as being “the only village in the world so named,” for example—but what it isn’t known for is having an abundance of tattoo parlors. And rightly so—because there is currently only one.

Fear not, though—if you are in the Kennebunk area and are trying to find a body art specialist, there are plenty to be had in nearby towns.

This list includes establishments within a 30-minute drive from Kennebunk’s center; for a permanent masterpiece inked by a professional artist, I’d say that’s a worthwhile investment of your time.

Both of these folks are down-to-earth and friendly; they love nothing more than learning the story behind your chosen design or idea and helping make it even better than you imagined.

Flow Studios does not take walk-ins; you’ll need an appointment for an initial consultation, at which point you’ll schedule your tattoo and make a non-refundable deposit.
