Black Mountain of Maine in Rumford presents The Edge Tubing Park that’s open three times per week for people ages five and older and 40 inches or taller.

The fee includes a tube and limitless rides down the two wide chutes. Tickets can be purchased online or at the mountain. Black Mountain has a free spectator area.

Lost Valley in Auburn welcomes pre-paid tube riders to its Maine Family Snow Tube Park. There’s a tow that pulls you up the hill. Then you’re off and cruising down one of the 600-foot groomed lanes.

Purchase for each 55-minute session is done online with discounts for groups. The site can be reserved for private gatherings. Children must be 42 inches tall to ride. The park has a designated standing spectator area.
