While Kennebunk is certainly a wonderful place to live, this comfortable town full of amenities is just as attractive to day-trippers and vacationing tourists from all over the world.
Shopping, dining, beaches, and galleries draw folks by the thousands every year. To accommodate these visitors, Kennebunk has amassed a considerable array of lodging options at all price points, ranging from high-end boutique inns to motels, quaint bed and breakfasts, and franchise operations.
A caveat for summertime visits: Many hotels require a minimum stay—and if you’re looking to be closer to the shore, you’d be wise to book far in advance.
Map of Kennebunk Hotels
Lodging in coastal towns can be hard to find, which is why we’ve put together this map with the best hotels in the Kennebunk area:
The Grand Hotel
One of the most elevated—in more ways than one—lodging options Kennebunk has to offer, The Grand sits near the top of Lower Village, overlooking the entrance to Dock Square and the Kennebunk River.
The décor is refined and classy; the walls are hung with spectacular works by local artists, more of which can be found at The Grand’s on-site Maine Art Hill Gallery. Guestrooms are filled with soothing neutral tones, high-end linens and fixtures, and feature flat-screen televisions, Keurig coffee makers, and air conditioning.
Bicycles are available for guests’ use, and there is a personal stay concierge available to help with making dinner reservations and planning your visit.
