Child on a dock at Moosehead Lake.
A favorite destination for fishing, hunting, hiking, and vacationing, the Moosehead Lake Region is said to be populated by three times as many moose as people.

Abundant antlered mammals and moose-shaped lake notwithstanding, there are also far more things on offer here than breathtaking wilderness and water-centric recreation.

In the Greenville area, particularly, there are a fair few traveler amenities like dining, shopping, and lodging options—the latter running the gamut of everything from rustic cabins to resort-style inns and lodges.

The list below includes driving time for any accommodations that are not within walking distance of the lake.
