A popular haunt for thousands of vacationers every year, Wells has plenty to offer these summertime sojourners.
With its beautiful beaches, abundant natural recreation activities, and myriad dining and entertainment options, this antiquing capital of Maine draws folks from all around the country.
And where there are tourists, you will find certainly find accommodations.
Wells has a little of everything when it comes to lodging—most of which are located right on U.S. Route One (Post Road), and just a short drive to the beaches. Many of these hotels are seasonal, and will be noted as such…but be sure to check websites for any schedule changes.

The Coast Village Inn and Cottages
Coast Village is open year-round and features all non-smoking rooms, suites, and cottages with AC/heat, refrigerators, and microwaves; some are pet-friendly.
There is also an outdoor pool with a roomy sun deck and plenty of lounge chairs, and a community picnic area with public grills.
Located on the Wells Trolley route, it’s easy to get around without ever starting your car once you’ve parked it for your stay at Coast Village.

Redecorated in 2020, this 1865 historic farmhouse was completely renovated and restored in 2008 and is only 1.5 miles from the beach.

Open all year and featuring great off-season special rates, Misty Harbor is located mere seconds off Route One and is less than a mile to the beach.
